Matrix Applications is proud to share our participation and representation at SunriseWALKS in support of The Lucille and Jay Chazanoff Sunrise Day Camp of Staten Island.
SunriseWALKS is a fundraising campaign to raise awareness and critical funds for the world’s first full summer day camp, Sunrise Day Camp-Staten Island, for children with cancer and their siblings, completely free of charge.
Participants walk to bring the joys of childhood back to children with cancer and their siblings, with the creation of day camps, year-round programs and in-hospital recreational activities. The Matrix team joined forces on Sunday, June 4, 2023 to make a positive impact on the lives of the children with cancer by participating in the celebratory walk.
“It was an inspiring experience to help give the summer back to children with cancer and their siblings, working together to create more smiles,” expressed Colleen Judge, Head of Marketing and Communications at Matrix Applications.

The Joan & Alan Bernikow JCC operates Sunrise Day Camp-Staten Island on the grounds of Staten Island Academy. With its 12-acre campus, there is ample space for campers to take part in a range of activities, both indoors and outdoors. This year, campers will also have access to two swimming pools and larger field space.
