This year marked Jackie Boy’s Crew’s 5th annual golf outing and fundraiser. They once again put on an amazing event, a day spent celebrating, raising funds, and raising awareness for the Down syndrome and special needs community.
This year’s proceeds support the Special Olympics in our local area. We had the opportunity to hear from Stacey Hengsterman, President & CEO of Special Olympics New York, about their mission and impact.
As a parent of a daughter with Down syndrome, I can personally attest to the importance of these programs in our community. My daughter recently joined a special needs soccer team and an adaptive physical education program. She loves being active and playing sports. The pride and joy she feels when she puts on her soccer uniform can’t be overstated. These programs do so much to support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of those in the special needs community.
My family and I are incredibly grateful to Matrix Applications and South Street Securities for their generous support of Jackie Boy’s Crew and our family.

Jackie Boy’s Crew Foundation was created in 2021. It aims to provide support to local Down Syndrome organizations and celebrate the accomplishments of people with Down Syndrome. Proceeds from The Jackie Boy’s Crew Foundation 3rd Annual Golf Classic will go towards supporting ACDS.
ACDS is dedicated to providing lifetime resources of exceptional quality, innovation and inclusion for individuals with Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities and their families. ACDS believes that All Children Deserve Success and is committed to services that will follow children throughout their young lives into adulthood providing home and clinic based Early Intervention and Pre-school special education.
