Last month, Matrix Applications proudly sponsored the 2024 TiE Women Pitch Competition hosted at the Bank of America Tower in New York City. The event was introduced to us by our partner Manjusha Tipre, Co-Founder and Executive Director of ZeroBeta, and President of TiE New York Chapter.

The New York Chapter Winner, Miho Shoji from Moodbit, will be moving on to pitch at the grand finale at TGS, Bangalore in December 2024.
Colleen Judge and Avon Yan from Matrix Applications proudly attended the event and assisted with marketing services for TiE, including photography and videography at the New York Chapter Finals, where five women entrepreneurs pitched their companies to a panel of four judges, along with a packed audience.
TiE Women's vision is to embrace, engage and empower women entrepreneurs worldwide, regardless of the size of their enterprises or background. Their mission is to achieve this vision through sustainable programming across all 61 chapters of TiE Global, focusing on pillars such as learning, mentoring, access to funding, scalability, safe space and community.
Participants in the TiE Women program can benefit from equity-free cash prizes, mentoring by successful entrepreneurs, access to global investors, networking opportunities, a global platform to showcase their startups and various learning sessions and events.
The TiE Women program has received 6,000+ applications across 62 countries, accelerated 400+ women-led startups, provided chapter-level mentoring to 700+ women entrepreneurs, engaged 100+ mentors and experts, and awarded equity-free grants worth $350K+ to 16 women-led startups.
